Teen Charged With Murder Captured After Escape From CHOP
The 17-year-old murder suspect was grabbed on board a SEPTA bus, officials said.

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The teenager charged with murder who escaped from custody during a visit to Children's Hospital of Philadlephia has been captured.
U.S. Marshals took 17-year-old Shane Pryor into custody at around 6:30 p.m. Sunday night.
Investigators found information on Sunday morning connecting Pryor to the Hunting Park section of the city

Surveillance teams were sent to that part of the city, and at around 6:20 p.m. one saw Pryor boarding a SEPTA bus at 9th Street and Roosevelt Boulevard.
U.S. Marshals boarded the bus and took Pryor into custody without incident. While searching Pryor, Philadelphia detectives found a handcuff key in his pocket.

“To bring Shane Pryor into custody 4 days after escaping is a result of tremendous collaboration between the U.S. Marshals Service and the Philadelphia Homicide Unit," Supervisory Deputy Marshal Robert Clark said. "We thank the great citizens of Philadelphia, as well as the media, for their support and coverage during this investigation."
Pryor was booked at Philadelphia Juvenile Justice Service Center, where he will be held pending his trial for the 2020 homicide, which occurred when he was 14 in 2020.
