Teen Killed In Hit-And-Run Crash Identified; 5 Others Injured
The collision happened near the intersection of State Road and Ashburner Street in Philadelphia Friday night.
PHILADELPHIA, PA — A teen is dead and five others were injured in a three-vehicle hit-and-run crash in Philadelphia's Holmesburg section Friday night.
The collision happened at about 9:10 p.m. at 8400 State Road and Ashburner Street when a silver Nissan sports utility vehicle heading south on State Road collided with a 2012 black Honda, according to police.
The Honda then collided with a 2017 black Ford Escape and a utility pole. The Nissan fled the scene, according to authorities.

A 17-year-old Philadelphia boy in the Honda was pronounced dead at the scene. On Saturday, authorities identified the teen as Shibin Sony.
The driver and another passenger in the Honda were both transported to the hospital in extremely critical condition.

Three inside the Ford Escape were transported to the hospital and were all listed in stable condition.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing, police said.
