Teen Shoots Friend While Playing With Gun In Philadelphia: Reports

A 15-year-old boy reportedly fled the scene after shooting his friend, 14, accidentally with a gun he was playing with Wednesday night.

PHILADELPHIA — A teenage boy is recovering after he was shot accidentally by a friend who was playing with a gun Wednesday in Philadelphia.

The shooting happened at about 9:17 p.m. along the 6400 block of North Broad Street, NBC10 reports.

The boy, 14, and a friend, 15, were playing with a gun when it went off, striking the 14-year-old boy in the stomach, according to Fox 29.

Reports state the boy is in serious but stable condition at Einstein Medical Center.
