Teen Shot, Killed Outside Northeast Philly Corner Store

A 19-year-old man was gunned down outside a business on the 5500 block of Torresdale Avenue early Wednesday morning.

PHILADELPHIA — A teenager was shot and killed outside a Northeast Philadelphia corner store early Wednesday morning, according to reports.

The shooting occurred at about 2 a.m. on the 5500 block of Torresdale Avenue, Action News reports.

Police were called to the area for a report of a shooting and found a 19-year-old man suffering from a gunshot to the head, according to NBC10.

He was rushed to Torresdale Jefferson Hospital, where he died at 2:23 a.m., Fox 29 reports.
