Teen Shot Sunday At Philadelphia Burger King: Police

Sunday's shooting marks another teen being shot in the city in a disturbing trend that has emerged in recent weeks.

PHILADELPHIA – Another teenager has been shot in Philadelphia, continuing what appears to be a disturbing trend that emerged in the recent weeks.

Police said a 15-year-old boy was shot Sunday night at a North Philadelphia Burger King.

The boy was shot at about 5:25 p.m. while sitting in the passenger seat of a vehicle that was in the drive through of the Burger King at 2700 N. 8th Street, police said.

According to police, while the vehicle was in the drive through, a person wearing a grey hoodie and a white face mask walked up to the vehicle and inside it about nine times.

The teen was hit twice in the back, police said.

He was rushed to Temple University Hospital where he is still listed in stable condition, police said.

Police have not identified a suspect or a motive for the shooting and are investigating the incident.
