Teen Shot On Temple's Campus Monday Afternoon

A 15-year-old boy was shot in the arm Monday afternoon on Temple University's campus, according to university officials.

PHILADELPHIA — A teenager was hurt in a shooting on Temple University's campus Monday afternoon, according to the school.

The boy was shot at about 4:45 p.m. on the 1700 block of N. 12th Street.

Temple University Police Department officers were called to the area for a report of a shooting and found the boy suffering from a gunshot wound to his arm.

He was taken to Temple University Hospital. Police did not provide an update on the boy's condition.

The school said no students appear to be involved in the incident.

Philadelphia Police are working with Temple University Police to investigate the shooting.
