Time Running Out On $1M Powerball Ticket Sold In Philadelphia
Lottery officials have issued an "an urgent plea" to the person who purchased a $1 million winning Powerball ticket at a Philly business.

PHILADELPHIA — Pennsylvania Lottery Officials on recently issued an "urgent plea" to the person who purchased a $1 million winning Powerball ticket at a store in Philadelphia as it is set to expire soon.
The ticket was bought at the 5th Variety Store, 6013 N. 5th St. in Philadelphia's Olney neighborhood.
It is set to expire on June 24 unless it is claimed by that date, lottery officials said.

The ticket was for the June 24, 2017 drawing. The ticket matched all five white balls drawn, 10-22-32-36-58, but not the red Powerball 10, to win $1 million, less withholding.
The ticket holder should sign the ticket and contact the nearest Lottery office. Find your nearest lottery office here.

Winners can be identified only after prizes are claimed and tickets validated, according to lottery officials.
By law, expired lottery prizes remain in the Lottery Fund to pay for programs benefiting older Pennsylvanians.
