Trump Campaign To Host News Conference In Philadelphia

Eric and Lara Trump, former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi, and senior campaign adviser Corey Lewandowski are planning to attend.

PHILADELPHIA — The Trump campaign is planning to host a press conference in Philadelphia Wednesday afternoon, according to numerous reports.

Eric Trump, his wife Lara Trump, former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi and senior campaign adviser Corey Lewandowski are set to speak at 3:30 p.m. in near the Reading Terminal Market in Center City Philadelphia.

Rudy Giuliani, President Donald Trump's personal lawyer, tweeted at about 2 p.m. Wednesday that he is on his way to Philadelphia, as well.

It's unclear where Giuliani got the 550,000 number, as Philadelphia's election results website shows Trump with 113,781 votes and former Vice President Joe Biden with 457,773 votes as of 3:46 p.m. Wednesday. And according to the Pennsylvania Department of State, Trump is up 376,546 votes on Biden, with Trump count at 3,059,071 votes and Biden at 2,682,525 votes.

State voting data shows 1.06 million mail-in ballots are yet to be counted, with slightly more than 167,200 in Philadelphia.

Ahead of the news conference, a group of vocal anti-Trump protesters were making statements via a sound system. Among those who spoke was Philadelphia City Councilwoman Helen Gym.
