Vehicle In Hit-And-Run That Killed Girl, 14, Found: Philly Police

PHILADELPHIA — Police in Philadelphia said they found the vehicle that struck and killed a teenage girl last week in West Philadelphia.
Dawn Watson, 14, was fatally struck by a vehicle at about 9:38 p.m. Thursday on the 6500 block of Haverford Avenue, police said.
She was crossing the street with her mother when she was struck by a vehicle speeding eastbound on Haverford Avenue, police said.

The striking vehicle drove off.
Watson was pronounced dead at 9:46 p.m.

Police Monday said they found a 2011 Mercedes-Benz E350 they believe was the striking vehicle.
Authorities did not announce any arrests in connection with the incident, however.
