Wanted Suspect Maced Employees While Robbing Philly Store: Police

If you see the suspect, call 911 and do not approach her, police said.

PHILADELPHIA — Philadelphia Police are trying to identify a person accused of spraying employees with mace while robbing a store last week in the city's Frankford neighborhood.

The incident happened around 3:20 p.m. Tuesday in a store at 4640 Frankford Ave. — near the intersection with Overington Street — police said.

The suspect entered the business and began concealing items, police said. When confronted, she took out mace and sprayed two employees, according to law enforcement.

She then fled the store with multiple items, authorities said.

Nearly a week later, the suspect remains unidentified. Police shared surveillance footage Monday of the woman inside the store. Watch below:
