Sandler, who is often seen sporting basketball shorts and shoes and is known to be a bit of a baller himself, got several NBA stars on board as well.
Players that fans from the Philly area will surely recognize are Sixers players Matisse Thybulle and Tobias Harris. Additionally, former Sixers players Boban Marjanović and Seth Curry, as well as Philly native and former Villanova star Kyle Lowry, make appearances in the film.
On top of those pros, the production held auditions of local basketball players to be in the film, with the auditions basically being tryouts.
The trailer also features notable Philly spots, such as Center City and City Hall, South Philly by Geno's Steaks, Manayunk, and more.
Also, Sandler is seen rocking a Federal Donuts shirt in the trailer, one of the city's most popular local chains.
"Hustle" releases June 8 on Netflix.
