WATCH: Navy Vet's Moving National Anthem Before Eagles Game
Check out this beautiful rendition of the National Anthem before the Eagles game Sunday by retired Petty Officer 1st Class Generald Wilson.

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The sell out crowd at Lincoln Financial Field could not have been much more fired up before the NFC Championship game between the Eagles and the Vikings Sunday night.
But retired Petty Officer 1st Class Generald Wilson did his best to set the stage when he took the field moments before the game to sing the National Anthem.
With 69,596 in attendance, per ESPN, Wilson belted out a memorable rendition. The performance attracted the attention of various luminaries, celebrities, actors, and others on social media.

"I absolutely love the national anthem before football games, and Generald Wilson killed it," tweeted Jake Ballard, a retired tight end. "I got chills like I was still playing."
The performance was punctuated by an actual bald eagle that took off during the performance, soared over the stadium, and returned to his keeper in the end zone as Wilson sung out the final notes.

"Wilson just showed pop stars how to properly blow a crowd away," Kelly Nash, a radio host, added.

Wilson, of St. Louis, is no stranger to the big stage. He's previously sung at St. Louis Blues and Cardinals games, as well as on Monday Night Football and before the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship game in 2016.
WIP's John Barchard took things a step further.
"Generald Wilson is our new Kate," he tweeted, referring to Kate Smith, whose performances of the National Anthem during Flyers games in the tense Vietnam era became iconic. Smith would go on to become a Philadelphia legend.
The Eagles, of course, went on to win the game in dominating fashion, 38-7. They will face the New England Patriots in Super Bowl 52.
And Wilson will be there in attendance, after the San Francisco 49ers gave him tickets to the game following his National Anthem performance before their Christmas Eve game.
