WATCH: Tractor Trailer Takes Out Traffic Pole In Philadelphia

A tractor trailer got stuck after it tired to turn onto 23rd Street from Lombard in the Fitler Square neighborhood Friday morning.

PHILADELPHIA — A tractor trailer took out a traffic light and signage in Philly's Fitler Square neighborhood Friday morning.

The truck was attempting to make a left-hand turn from Lombard Street to 23rd Street when it struck a pole holding signage and a traffic signal.

Construction on Lombard between 23rd and 24th streets forced the truck to make the turn onto 23rd.

However, a dump truck parked near the intersection led the truck to squeeze the turn and strike the pole, as well as construction equipment.

The truck's driver stayed at the intersection and notified a Philadelphia police officer, who was on duty at the construction site.

No one was hurt.

All traffic in the area was blocked, forcing construction to stop to allow vehicles to pass.
