White Supremacists Rally In Fairmount Park, Boathouse Row: Report

A small group of self proclaimed white supremacists gathered in the park Saturday and counter protestors later confronted them.

PHILADELPHIA – A small group of self described white supremacists rallied in Philadelphia's Fairmount Park and Boathouse Row Saturday, according to media reports.

The group gathered in the park and walked down Boathouse Row to the statue of Icelandic explorer Thorfinn Karlsefni, according to CBS Philadelphia.

Protestors confronted the group, but police said the day remained peaceful, according to 6ABC.
