Woman Fatally Struck By Vehicle In Philadelphia
Philadelphia Police said the woman was hit so hard that she was knocked out of her shoes and launched 100 feet in the deadly incident.
PHILADELPHIA — A woman died after being struck by a vehicle so forcefully that she was knocked out of her shoes and launched 100 feet Thursday, Philadelphia Police said.
The crash occurred at about midnight at North Broad Street and Nedro Avenue, according to Action News.
The woman, 59, was hit by a Subaru SUV, whose driver stayed at the scene and did not show signs of intoxication, NBC10 reports.
