Woman Hit By Vehicle On Interstate 95 North in Philadelphia Monday
A woman who still has not been identified suffered life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle on Interstate 95 north Monday.
PHILADELPHIA — A woman is suffering from life-threatening injuries after she was struck by a vehicle on Interstate 95 north in Philadelphia Monday morning.
Pennsylvania State Police said the crash happened at about 3:03 a.m. on I-95 north at mile marker 32.0 near Academy Road.
Troopers who responded to the scene found a woman in the right lane of the highway, with significant injuries.

She was taken to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.
The woman has not been identified.

According to authorities, the striking driver told troopers she was heading north on I-95 in the left lane when the woman came into the road from the grassy median to the left of the highway.
The driver was unable to avoid the woman, striking her with the front passenger side of her vehicle.
