Woman Hit, Killed By Car In School Parking Lot: Reports

The woman was reportedly walking with her grandchild when she was fatally struck by a vehicle Monday morning in Philadelphia.

PHILADELPHIA — A 65-year-old woman died after being struck by a vehicle Monday morning outside Catharine Elementary School, according to reports.

The scene unfolded at about 7:30 a.m. on the 6600 block of Regent Street, according to Action News.

A woman, 30, was backing a Saturn SUV down a one-way street when she lost control of the vehicle and struck the woman, NBC10 reports.

According to Fox 29, the 65-year-old woman was walking her grandchildren to school when she was hit.

She was pronounced dead at about 7:40 a.m.
