A Frontier Airlines passenger faces charges after authorities said she exposed herself during a flight to Philadelphia.

PHILADELPHIA, PA — A Frontier Airlines passenger faces charges after authorities said she exposed herself during a flight to Philadelphia. The incident occurred on Nov. 23 during a flight from Orlando, the U.S. Attorney's Office said.

Dulce Huertas, 60, of Philadelphia, was served two alcoholic drinks during the flight, according to a joint investigation led by FBI and Federal Air Marshal Service.

When the flight landed Huertas stood and announced to the flight crew that "I have to pee," she said, according to the complaint.

Attendants told her that she had to remain seated until the plane stopped moving, but she refused to comply, eventually pushing her way into the aisle "aggressively" and shoving other passengers out of the way, authorities said.

When flight attendants blocked her way to the bathroom, she turned to the crowd and said "Sorry, everybody," took her pants down, and squatted as if to pee, according to officials. There were children among the crew who saw her actions.

Ultimately Huertas did not urinate and pulled her pants up, and then proceeded down the aisle yelling at and verbally abusing various passengers, including threatening to kill one, the complaint states.

She faces more than 21 years behind bars and a $355,000 fine if convicted.

The U.S. Attorney's Office has charged her with interference with flight crew members, simple assault, and indecent exposure.
