Woman Robbed At Gunpoint Outside Philly Church: Police
Philadelphia Police said the man broke into the church and vehicles parked outside it before he robbed the woman at gunpoint Aug. 23.
PHILADELPHIA — A woman was robbed at gunpoint outside a church by a man Philadelphia Police said broke into the church and vehicles before the alleged robbery.
The incident took place at about 11:45 a.m. Aug. 23 at Holy Cross Church, 154 E. Mt. Airy Ave., police said.
Police said the victim was leaving the church when a man came up to her and robbed her at gunpoint.

According to police, the same man burglarized the church and vehicles outside it before the robbery.
He was last seen heading toward Boyer Street.

Police described the suspect as a black male who appears to be in 20s with a dark brown complexion, mustache, and goatee. He was wearing a white t-shirt, black pants with a white baseball cap with a rainbow-colored emblem "All hustle, no luck," and armed with a silver handgun.
