Woman Stabbed To Death Sunday In Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA — A woman was fatally stabbed Sunday in Philadelphia, police said.

According to police, the stabbing occurred on the 2100 block of South Seventh Street in South Philadelphia.

Police said the victim, a 55-year-old woman, was stabbed once in the neck and multiple times in her legs.

She was pronounced dead at 8:26 a.m.

One person was detained for questioning, police said.

However, police did not find a weapon.
