Yards Hosting Real Ale Invitational April 30
More than 60 cask ales from breweries across the world will be available to taste at the annual event.

Attention beer lovers: Yards Brewing Company is hosting it's 10th Annual Real Ale Invitational next week and you better scoop tickets quick, as the beer event has sold out for the past five years.
Yards will host the event Sunday April 30 at its 901 Delaware Ave. location in Philadelphia. The company said since the brewery is moving soon, this will be the final Real Ale Invitational at the Delaware Avenue location, so you might want to say goodbye to the old location, too.
The event will be held from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and will feature more than 60 cask ales from breweries all over the world.

Cask ales, or real ales, are "unfiltered, unpasteurized beers that carbonate naturally inside a cask rather than using nitrogen or carbon dioxide pressure," according to Yards. "This brewing method originated in England and Yards helped resurrect the style in Philly over 20 years ago with our Extra Special Ale."
Tickets are $55 per person in advance and $65 at the door if the event doesn't sell out. Tickets get you access to beer, food, and a commemorative glass.
