Yearlong Broad Street Lane Closure Begins Monday

SEPTA will close a lane on northbound Broad Street for 24 hours a day, seven days a week through spring 2024, PennDOT said.

PHILADELPHIA — A lane on Broad Street will be closed for a year due to SEPTA work, PennDOT said.

According to PennDOT, SEPTA is planning to a single lane closure on northbound Broad Street between Morris Street and Tasker Street.

The closure will begin Monday.

PennDOT said the lane closure will be in place 24 four hours a day, seven days a week through spring 2024.

Crews will be working on an improvement project at the Tasker-Morris Subway Station.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur.
