1807 & Friends is all about great classical chamber music; world class musicians performing the great chamber works spanning three centuries. Members Nancy Bean and Lloyd Smith are no strangers to the Kimberton Arts Alliance, having performed as part of the Florian Trio and as the Wister Quartet in past years.

  • Nancy Bean retired in 2009 from her position Assistant Concertmaster of the Philadelphia Orchestra to dedicate her time to chamber music.
  • Lloyd Smith was Assistant Principal cellist of the Philadelphia Orchestra until he retired in 2003 to devote his time to chamber music and composing.
  • We are thrilled to welcome pianist Marcantonio Barone, who has diplomas from both Curtis and the Peabody Conservatory and has performed as soloist with major orchestras all over the world.

Future events feature Solomiya Ivakhiv and Jungeun Kim, Astral Artists,America’s Dream Chamber Artists and The Momenta String Quartet. Join us for one show or the entire series and be a part of the emerging Arts scene in historical Kimberton! Dine at the Kimberton Inn prior to the performance to make the evening even more memorable.
