2 Phoenixville Bars Named Among Region's 50 Best By Philly Mag

Phoenixville has two of the region's 50 best bars, according to a new comprehensive list published by Philadelphia Magazine.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — Two Phoeniville bars have been named among the best in the Philadelphia region, according to a new comprehensive list put together by writers at Philadelphia Magazine.

The Pickering Creek Inn was included under the subheading "Where the Neighbors Go," identifying the best spots for locals. The following blurb about the Pick was included:

"It’s a town stalwart, but one with great craft beer, live music, solid wings, half-price drafts at happy hour, and $2.50 Yuenglings during the weekly "Karaoke Sh**tshow.'"

Four others on the list were on Philly, including longtime staples Johnny Brenda's and Monk's Cafe. Wayne's Teresa's Next Door also made the list.

Root Down Brewery, meanwhile, was named under the "At The Source" category, for the area's top breweries and distilleries. Here's what they had to say about Root Down:
