$2500 Donated To Phoenixville Police Department

A check for $2500 was presented to the Phoenixville Police Department on Wednesday by the Phoenixville Jaycees.

The President of the Jaycees, Peter Urscheler, provided the donation for the police department’s equipment fund.

Phoenixville Mayor Mike Speck thanked Urscheler and the Jaycees in a post to social media.

It is not known if the donation will go toward a specific project or be used for general equipment needs.

Past donations to the department were for a specific cause, like drones.
