With ACA Repeal Over, Chester County Protesters of Rep. Costello Move On To Russia
The next West Chester rally urges Rep. Costello to back a select committee to investigate President Trump's alleged ties with Russia.

WEST CHESTER, PA -- With the repeal of the Affordable Care Act on the backburner for now at least, progressives in Chester County are turning their attention toward President Trump's alleged ties with Russia.
A rally will take place in front of the offices of U.S. Rep. Ryan Costello (R PA-6) on March 31, organizers said, to urge the local Congressman to back a select committee to lead the investigation into Russia.
It's the 12th consecutive week that the Concerned Citizens Action Group for District 6 will mobilize in front of Rep. Costello's West Chester office.

During the rally, organizers said that they would be offering a free introductory lesson in the Russian language.
"We may need to learn the language of the folks who appear to have a great deal of influence in our government," said a representative of the group, Claire Witzlebein. "We must demand a real investigation into the influence of the Russians on the campaign, on the transition, and in this administration."

Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) and former Vice President Joe Biden are among significant figures who have backed the need for a select committee to replace House Intelligence leadership, which is currently investigating the alleged ties. McCain has said that partisanship, particularly on the part of Rep. Devin Nunes (R CA-22) has clouded the investigation.
"No longer does the Congress have credibility to handle this alone, and I don't say that lightly," McCain, the chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, told MSNBC.
Rep. Costello voiced his support for House Intelligence leadership during a rally in February, but it's not yet clear if he maintains that position. Patch has reached out to his office for comment on the issue.
The Trump administrations continues to deny any wrongdoing.
The rally will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 21 Market Street in West Chester.
