Accident On Route 113 Backs Up Phoenixville

An accident on Route 113 has backed up traffic heading into Phoenixville, according to eyewitness reports.

At least one car was involved in the incident, which occurred at about 4:40 p.m. Monday afternoon.

The car was pulled off to the side of the road on the grass near the sharp bend in the road leading up to Black Rock Sanctuary heading toward the borough.

One ambulance and one police car were on the scene.

It’s not yet known what caused the accident.
