The Phoenixville Area Acoustic Jam Group

&

Many Rivers

Thursday, May 26 * 6:30 – 8:30 PM

in the Carnegie Room

Members of two local performance and songwriting groups will play a variety of old standards and originals.

Sponsored by the Steel City Blues Society, the Phoenixville Area Acoustic Jam Group is a laid back, friendly and welcoming group of musicians of all ages and skill levels. We meet twice a month in the community room of the Phoenixville Public Library and at Steel City Coffeehouse. The primary instruments are voice and acoustic guitar, although bass, ukulele, mandolin, percussion and keyboards are welcome and encouraged. Interested musicians can join the group and sign up for sessions at meetup.com.

Many Rivers is a group of songwriters that met at the Tuesday night songwriters circle at the Steel City Coffee House in Phoenixville. From 2002 to 2007 they cut their teeth writing songs and performing them in an informal setting. There were many musicians who showed up to play over the years, but these seven were the core group...and prolific writers. They respect and enjoy each others' sensibilities and diverse talents, and have long since become good friends.

This event is free and open to the public. Reservations are required. For more information or to reserve a seat, call 610-933-3013, Ext. 132 or e-mail mpinto@ccls.org.
