PHOENIXVILLE, PA — Federal immigrations enforcement activity was reported around Phoenixville on Tuesday morning, local advocacy organizations said.
Project Libertad issued an alert at around 8 a.m., citing "multiple sightings across Phoenixville."
It's not yet clear if anyone was taken into custody Tuesday.
The Department of Homeland Security has not issued a public release on arrests or activities in Chester County this week.
The borough has been among numerous local communities targeted by ICE raids and arrests, including a few highly publicized incidents.
Five were taken into custody during a June raid, while another incident caught on video back in February sparked large protests around town.
