Bernie Sanders vs the Democratic National Committee
Of the 3, only 2 candidates were serious contenders: Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton.
Through leaked emails to the public, it was found that the Democratic National Committee had circulated internal memos and emails to deliberately sabotage Sanders (with the idea to push him behind in the polls against Clinton, and with the cooperation of main stream media) and put all available resources toward Hillary’s nomination. In some of these emails, there are quotes pointing toward a clear strategy to demolish Sanders on the public platform. And there was further evidence that the DNC was plotting to plant “false” lies about Republican Nominee Donald Trump as well, creating a “fake craigslist ad” for women who want to apply for jobs with Trump’s organization. The job listing in the fake ad is very disparaging toward women.

SUMMARY:
Bernie Sanders has challenged the Democratic National Committee (DNC) to choose a side: the people vs big business/Wall Street. This could be why he is viewed by the DNC as an “anti-establishment candidate”. In fact, Bernie Sanders has a more solid reputation than his rival, Hillary Clinton. Since the beginning of his political career, he has championed exactly the people he has always worked hard for: the poor, the underprivileged, and the down-trodden.

However, despite his huge popularity and ideals, his campaign was always doomed to fail. Sanders, himself, called out the DNC. In December, the committee refused the Sanders campaign access to the Democratic voter registration database. The only reason access was granted was because Sanders called the public attention to this clear bias in favor of Hillary Clinton.
Despite Hillary staying far away from this politically, not once is there anything on record that says she protests the shenanigans of the DNC or to state that the struggle for the POTUS position should be fair and square. It’s the opinion of this author that, while she may not have known directly, she knew that in a fair fight, she would have lost the nomination to Bernie Sanders. Even Trump made the statement that while he would like to run against Bernie Sanders, he knows that the DNC is pulling for Hillary Clinton. In an interesting twist, HRC and her campaign suggested that it was probably the Russians behind the hacking. What that has to do with the DNC smear campaign against Bernie Sanders, regardless of who or what brought it to the attention of the public, is not a question that has been answered satisfactorily.
Hillary Clinton, or the Democratic National Committee, has called her nomination as the Democratic candidate for President of the United States an historical moment. Sadly, her “historical moment” has been blemished with how Bernie Sanders (a credible candidate) was sidelined for Hillary and how her entire political career has been repeated failings, whether personal or professional.
And this makes another reason why Hillary Clinton is not suitable to be POTUS. The American people need someone who can lead and take responsibility for everything that happens in their administration.
