Do Republicans really dislike Obama because of his policies or is it something else?

CNN reported that two people were removed from the Republican National Convention Tuesday after they threw nuts at an African-American CNN camera operator and said, "This is how we feed animals".

I have to say I actually have more "respect" for these guys as at least they were honest about their racism unlike the so called "tea party" and some other Republicans that instead make up side issues as reasons to attack Obama. Their favorite seems to be to call him a "commie", "socialist", or "muslim", non of which are true of course but it sounds better than dropping the "N" word which is what they really mean.
