The GOP sunk to new low today by blocking a Veterens Jobs bill ...PA Republican Sen. Pat Toomey joins this GOP fillibuster to block a bill designed to help Veterens find jobs as police and teachers after returning from Iraq and Afghanistan.
This is a shameful and stupid political display of exactly whats wrong with todays GOP. Why punish these Vets, who have a nearly 20% unemployment rate upon returning from combat, just to score some political points?? For what? The bill was popular and sure to pass , it even included a provision Toomey himself requested be added and he STILL voted against it...only because President Obama mentioned his support for the bill. Shamless political games!
I ask all Pennsylvanians to call Sen. Toomeys office immediatly and express your outrage, promise to vote against the GOP ticket, in all races, local, state and national, unless he and the GOP allows this bill to pass the Senate.

Please dont let our brave Veterens pay the price for the GOP's obession with opposing anything President Obama supports. Enough of this shameless partisan game playing...every 80 minutes a Veteren takes his own life out of desperation and Sen. Toomey is busy blocking a bill, designed to help them in thier desperate situation just make some political point.
