A great time to purchase a home is during the Holiday Season. While many other buyers are busy hustling and bustling with the Holidays, buyers who are serious about purchasing can not only find great home prices and Sellers willing to negotiate but will have first choice at homes.
The Spring Market can occur early or late in the Winter Season and it all depends on weather. January and February of 2012 was filled with buyers and homes moved off the market very quickly. This was due to the warm weather and lack of snow.
Once we enter the Spring Market the competition among buyers will begin. If you are serious about purchasing a home take the time between Thanksgiving and New Years to choose one. Rates are great and it's a great time to purchase!
