What Goes Bump in the Night Around Phoenixville?

Ghost tours make a great Halloween adventure and show a new and exciting side of Phoenixville!

That strange glints in the windows of our 150-year-old Victorian houses are just our eyes playing tricks. That eerie quiet of the old Charlestown Cemetery where hundreds of unknown Civil War soldiers are laid to rest isn't anything out of the ordinary. And someone whisling in the stacks at Phoenixville Library ... that's just an ordinary alive patron ... isn't it?

This is your one-of-a-kind opportunity to find out. Experience the history–and mystery–of the most haunted borough in Pennsylvania. This 90-minute walking tour is the brainchild of Peggy Schmidt and Andrea Martnishn. These two friends have long tracked the unexplained and mysterious occurrences throughout our area, and have returned again and again to Phoenixville because of its long history of the paranormal.

The tour leaves at 8 p.m. every Friday and Saturday night in October, meeting at the 37 Bridge St., downtown Phoenixville.
