BREAKING: Charges Say Subway's Jared Paid Minor For Sex; Faces Years In Jail
Fogle was charged on Wednesday. Subway has locations throughout Montgomery County.

Former Subway spokesman Jared Fogle admitted Wednesday that he possessed and distributed child pornography with children as young as six years old and crossed state lines to have sex with minors, according to a plea agreement he signed with the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Indianapolis. He could face 50 years in prison.
Fogle obtained videos from Russell Taylor, a former member of his Jared Foundation, that showed minors engaged in sexual activity, according to the court documents posted online Wednesday, .
Videos were produced on hidden cameras without knowledge of the children.

Fogle became the face of the Milford-based Subway sandwich shops after losing weight largely on a Subway- only diet. The company has issued a statement that it no longer has a relationship with Fogle.
The court documents released Wednesday say that in November 2012, he paid for sex with a then-17-year-old at the Plaza Hotel in New York and again at the Ritz Carlton in January. The victim told investigators that he had paid for sex with her three times before those New York encounters when she was 16.

The girl also identified a second victim, who Fogle paid to have sex with when she was 16. Court papers say he was searching for sex with girls as young as 14.
Fogle’s home in Zionsville was raided July 7, a few months after his charity partner, Taylor.
Court documents portray a disturbing picture of Fogle’s involvement with video of the minors, which were secretly shot in two separate locations where Taylor lived. The court documents blame Fogle for Taylor’s ability to accumulate victims.
“If the Defendant had promptly reported what he knew of these activities, then the sexually explicit material involving later victims would not have been produced,” the plea agreement says.
According to terms of the plea agreement, prosecutors won’t seek a sentence greater than 12.5 years, while Fogle won’t seek a sentence less than five years.
Under the agreement, Fogle would become a registered sex offender and undergo treatment for sex disorders.
Fogle is set to appear Wednesday in federal court. A press conference is scheduled with the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
