Medicare 102: Understanding Your Medicare

Phoenixville Public Library will host a free presentation, “Medicare 102: Understanding Your Medicare”, on Thursday, August 20, 6:30 PM, at the Library. Counselors with PA-MEDI will present. This event is for people who already have Medicare and want a refresher and better understanding of their benefits, Medicare costs, changes due to the Inflation Reduction Act, Special Enrollment Periods, help for low-income beneficiaries, PACE and PACENET, preventing Medicare fraud and more. Pennsylvania Medicare Education and Decision Insight (PA-MEDI), is a free, unbiased health insurance counseling program designed to help all Pennsylvanians with Medicare. PA-MEDI counselors are specially trained staff and volunteers who can answer your questions and provide you with objective, easy-to-understand information about Medicare. This event is free and open to the public. The program will also be livestreamed on Zoom for those unable to attend in person.
