Nonviolent Communication: Skills for Navigating Trying Times and Stregthening Relationships"

Phoenixville Public Library will host a free presentation, “Nonviolent Communication: Skills for Navigating Trying Times and Strengthening Relationships,” on Monday, August 24, 6:30 PM, at the Library. Cara Graver, Certified Holistic Health Counselor at The Cob Studio, will be the presenter. Nonviolent Communication (NVC) is a process created by psychologist Marshall Rosenberg. It focuses on compassionate dialogue, helping people express themselves clearly and listen deeply through four key components: observations, feelings, needs, and requests. It can be seen as both a spiritual practice and a concrete set of skills which help us create life-serving families and communities. Learn how you can develop these skills in this free presentation. This event is free and open to the public. The program will also be livestreamed on Zoom for those unable to attend in person. Registration is required at https://ccls.libcal.com/calendar/Phoenixville/nonviolent-communication or by calling 610-933-3013 x132. Email mpinto@ccls.org for more information.
