Top Scams and How to Avoid Them

Phoenixville Public Library will host a free Zoom presentation, “Top Scams and How to Avoid Them,” on Thursday, August 27 at 6:30 PM. George Dillman, Consumer Outreach Specialist with the Pennsylvania Department of Banking and Securities, will be the presenter. Every day people are getting scammed out of THOUSANDS of dollars by so called “professionals” looking to separate them from their hard-earned money. This presentation introduces you to commonly used tactics, what to look for and how to avoid them. This event is free and open to the public and will be held online via Zoom.
