Chester County Drug Addict Accused Of Injecting Kitten With Heroin: Report

As part of the "sick and disturbing" scene, the man allegedly choked and kicked the animal.

A drug addict from West Chester who had been accused of injecting a kitten with heroin was sentenced to parole on Tuesday, according to a Philly.com report.

James P. Myers was also sentenced to community service, the report states.

An officer found the animal unresponsive on August 3, 2014, with a rope around its neck and head trauma lying next to Myers’ car, according to the report.

A drug test on the kitten came back clean, however, and it was determined he did not in fact inject the kitten, the report states.

The judge described the “sick and disturbing scene” by Myers’ car, which contained dozens of needles, hundreds of empty heroin baggies, and a box of cat feces, the report states.
