Chester County Home Invaded By Nighmarish Suspect In Halloween Mask: Cops

A Tredyffrin resident awoke to a man in a Halloween mask standing at the foot of her bed. "Be quiet and you won't be hurt," he told her.

TREDYFFRIN, PA -- A man wearing a Halloween mask entered a Tredyffrin home early Saturday morning, bound the resident to her bed with duct tape, and then ransacked the home, according to the Tredyffrin Township Police Department.

The incident occurred March 12 at around 1:00 a.m. on the 100 block of Crestline Road, police said.

The woman awoke to a man in a Halloween mask with a bulbous nose standing at the foot of her bed, according to police.

“Be quiet and you won’t be hurt," the man told her, according to police, before binding her with duct tape.

He then ransacked the residence and made off with the woman's Wells Fargo ATM card and her vehicle keys, cops said.

The suspect is about 5'10 tall, 180 pounds, with broad shoulders, according to descriptions given by the victim to authorities.

The man showed a stun gun type of electronic restraint, with which he threatened the victim to procure her ATM number.

He also stole jewelry and a radio before leaving the home in the victim's car. He drove to the Devon Square Shopping Center Wells Fargo ATM, where the above image was captured, police said.

The victim managed to get free after the suspect left and called 911.

The victim's vehicle was later found by police at the Strafford Train Station.

The suspect remains on the run.
