Chester County Single Mothers' Conference Provides Access to Support and Services

Annual free event is designed to encourage, educate, and empower single moms in their role as sole provider for the family

The 4th Annual Chester County Single Mothers’ Conference, sponsored by Benchmark Federal Credit Union, was held April 9 at Henderson High School in West Chester. Single mothers ventured out despite the spring snow to take advantage of expert panel discussions on parenting and relationships, custody and child support, finances, and more. During the event, Isabel A. Morales was named recipient of the Belinda R. Harrison Award 2016, which recognizes a Chester County single mother who has overcome major obstacles in her life to become an inspirational role model for women in Chester County.

The Chester County Single Mothers’ Conference is organized by the Chester County Community Collaborative in partnership with the Chester County Women’s Commission. Follow the Single Mothers’ Conference on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/SingleMothersCC/?fref=ts.
