Chesterbrook Academy Elementary School in Oaks Holds Food Drive
Students delivered the 157 cans of soup they collected during their Souper Bowl Food Drive to Phoenixville Area Community Services
On Feb. 5, second graders from Chesterbrook Academy Elementary School in Oaks stopped by Phoenixville Area Community Services to deliver a donation of 157 cans of soup. From Jan. 23 through Feb. 2, Chesterbrook Academy held a school-wide “Souper Bowl” food drive, and students were tasked with collecting canned goods and dropping them in a box to indicate which team they thought would win the big game. The Eagles box received 143 cans, while the Patriots box received 14. During their visit to Phoenixville Area Community Services, the second graders met with representatives from the organization to learn more about how their contributions will help community members in need.
