Civil War Living History at The Mill at Anselma: August 15 and 16, 2015

Join Union Soldiers as they live at the Mill for the Weekend! Demonstrations on soldier life, cooking, rifle firing, and drill.

The Mill at Anselma will be celebrating the 150th Anniversary of the end of the American Civil War.

Join us on Saturday and Sunday, August 15 and 16, when Union soldiers will take over the Mill for the Weekend. Programs will include:

* Life of the Civil War soldier
* Camp life of the Civil War soldier
* Food of the Civil War soldier
* Drill & Manual Arms of the Civil War soldier - enlist and learn how to drill just like a soldier!
* Musket firing demonstrations
* Music of the Civil War (Bugle calls and drum & fife calls)

Plenty of hands-on activities for children. Come meet and see the soldiers at the Mill!

*Children dressed as a soldier or civilian from the Civil War will receive FREE Admission*

Adults: $5

Seniors: $4
