'Conquer The College Process': Phoenixville Program To Help With Applications

Applying to school can be a daunting challenge.
A new program in Phoenixville aims to help students and their families with the college application process.
The Conquer the College Process, presented by Andre Kiss of Critical Point Test Prep, will come to Phoenixville on Monday, September 21, from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m.

The program will be in the Phoenixville Public Library’s Community Education Room.

- College applications – importance of grades, extracurriculars, and test scores; biggest college essay mistakes; pros and cons of test-optional schools
- SAT vs. ACT – college preferences, upcoming changes
- Test preparation – strategies for common problems; recommended prep books; how to send scores to colleges
Kiss is the best-selling author of “I Used to Hate the ACT, Too: How to Conquer the #1 College Admissions Test”.
