Crowded Castle Sets Opening Time Frame In Phoenixville

PHOENIXVILLE, PA -- Phoenixville's newest microbrewery, Crowded Castle Brewing Company, plans to open later this spring.

While the brewery did not provide a specific date, they said that they are aiming for early May.

Crowded Castle has long existed as a craft beer distributor, but all that changed when they announced last July that they had signed a lease for a taproom in the Steel City.

The new brewery will be located on 242 Bridge Street, in the heart of downtown.

The company has been hard at work over the last several weeks unloading brewing equipment, painting the interior, and preparing for their opening, as evidenced in the video below:

The revelation came just days after it was announced that the long awaited Foodery on Bridge Street was planning to open between April 1 and April 15.

Crowded Castle will add to a fledgling local craft beer scene in the Phoenixville area, which already includes Iron Hill, Stable 12, and Sly Fox, among others.
