East Vincent's Coronavirus Death Toll Rises To 6
Six East Vincent residents have died from coronavirus, accounting for a large portion of the county's fatalities thus far.
EAST VINCENT, PA — Six East Vincent residents have died from coronavirus as of Monday morning, according to county statistics, accounting for a large portion of the county's fatalities thus far.
The county's total number of deaths sits at 17, and the number of positive cases is 606.

"This week could be the a week where we see a climb in positive tests," Chester County Commissioner Josh Maxwell said Sunday. "Please stay extra vigilant about monitoring your health, staying a safe distance from others, and wearing a mask if you must be out in public. We can do this."
In Montgomery County clusters of deaths were traced back on several cases to nursing homes, particularly in both Upper Gwynedd Township and Springfield Township. It's not yet clear if that's the case in East Vincent, as those details remain unavailable.

Pennsylvania's first coronavirus case was confirmed on March 6. Since then, the total number of COVID-19 cases has swelled to 24,199 and 524 deaths as of Monday.
