The History of the Aqua Pennsylvania Company at Pickering Creek

Steve Tagert, the president of Aqua Pennsylvania, will tell the story of the company's history and go into plans for the future. 

The free event is brought to you by the Schuylkill River Heritage Center.

The story of the Pickering Creek, as a source of fresh water for the entire region, began in 1895 when the Berwyn Water Company began to develop the infrastructure to deliver clean water. Over 110 years later, Aqua PA continues to provide this important resource.
