• Xfinity Scam Targeting Phoenixville Area (patch.com) — Scammers are targeting Xfinity customers in Phoenixville and nearby East Pikeland by posing as company representatives and pressuring residents to upgrade supposedly outdated equipment over the phone. Police say legitimate equipment replacements should never require giving bank or credit card details by phone, and urge you to use only verified Xfinity contact channels if you're unsure.
   

• Unsafe Temperatures Trigger Food Disposal at Chester County Sites (mychesco.com) — Chester County inspectors recently ordered food tossed at Liberty House in Phoenixville after finding a cooler holding items above safe temperatures, while several other Phoenixville spots, including Black Horse Tavern, The Drift, and Aquilante's Original Catering, passed inspection. Residents are reminded they can confidentially report unsanitary conditions or illness linked to local food establishments.
