Fire Reported In Phoenixville, Lightning Likely Cause: Report

A fire was reported at a twin home on Dayton Street in Phoenixville Wednesday morning, and reports indicate lightning may be the cause for the blaze.

According to NBC10, when firefighters arrived to the home around 5:30 a.m., there was ”heavy smoke and flames billowing” from the top floors of the home.

The fire was placed under control within an hour, according to NBC10. No injuries were reported. The fire remains under investigation by authorities.
