Fundraiser Launched For Dog Shot In Home Invasion

Faith was shot and lost her eye during a recent home invasion. Find out how you can help.

WEST CHESTER, PA -- During a home invasion last week in Delaware County, a man and his dog were shot. The dog, Faith, was injured badly, and lost her eye.

She was rushed to West Chester Veterinary Medical Center, where she did "incredibly well" during surgery and has begun her healing process.

The Brandywine Valley SPCA, based in West Chester, has launched a fundraiser to help with Faith's medical expenses. More than $2,000 had been raised by 61 donors as of Monday afternoon.

"She remains as sweet as pie but will continue to need your help while she walks her new path. Please continue sharing her story and asking friends, family, & coworkers to get involved," the fundraiser states.

The man is recovering from the shooting as well.
